WordUps are regular (monthly) meetings focussing on using WordPress for business benefit.

The initial WordUp session will primarily be focussed on finding out about each of the attendees. So be prepared to talk about yourself, what you do, what you want to get out of WordPress meetups (e.g. make the most of blogging, solve website problems, find the best plugins), who you’d like to meet, what specialist skills you bring to the group… and any other ideas you can think of between now and then.
Also, I want to find people who are interested in getting involved with WPG 2012; determining what needs to be done in order to plan, organise and market WordPressgang 2012. We need to find speakers, sponsors, a suitable venue and a date.
Subsequent sessions will enable speakers to try out their presentations plus the same sort of thing that happens at other WordPress Meetups around the country.
